Sense of Danger is a fantastic set of romantic suspense books。 I was emotionally invested in the characters， and the plots kept me guessing。 I highly recommend them to clean romance and romantic suspense readers and to readers of Christian romance and romantic suspense。 I would definitely read more by author Alexa Verde。

is a player and could never be hers。 James thinks he isn't good enough for her， and since he's lost his faith， they couldn't be together， anyway。 When Soledad helps him to return to God， will these two be able to see themselves together， the way they both want to be？ I love the way they bring out the best in each other！I just finished Touch of Danger。 Ivan left Rios Azules to go in the Army。 Now， he's back as a rookie cop， which was also part of his dream。 When he goes to his brother's house and find Julia there with his brother's body， he blames her for Seth's death。 When Julia's life is threatened， he realizes she may be right， that Seth's death was a murder， and now the murderer is after Julia。 The more they work together， the more they both realize they never stopped loving the other。 Will Julia be able to help Ivan find his faith again， and will she be able to accept he won't leave her as others have？ I love the way Julia always depends on God， and by the end of the book， Ivan is finding he can， too！ I also didn't figure out who the killer was until the characters did， which is how I like it！ I just finished Scent of Danger。 Connor and Maya meet when she's impersonating her twin sister， a fashion model， at a party put on by Connor's father， a Texas state senator。 Before Connor realizes that Maya isn't her twin， he's suspicious because he's drawn to her when he was not drawn to her sister。 When Connor figures out who she is， she's gone。 When they meet for the second time， he's even more drawn to her， and they decide to work together to find her sister。 The more they are drawn to each other， the more they realize that they have to tell their "secrets" and they both think the other won't be able to get past that。 When they finally learn to trust each other， it's almost too late。 Love the way this story comes together， and love that Maya helps Connor find his way back to God！I just finished Danger Under the Mistletoe。 Rachel meets Sebastian when she moves to Rios Azules。 She's ready for a new start， and decides that her friend's hometown is a good start。 She finds a house next door to Sebastian's grandmother， which leads to her meeting Sebastian。 When her old life comes back to haunt her， Sebastian steps in to help。 He hasn't wanted to find someone since his wife， Tess， died two years ago。 Rachel hasn't wanted to find someone since her husband， Ryan， died。 The more time they spend together， the more Sebastian helps Rachel see how much God loves her。 Will these two lonely people be able to realize how much they love and need each other？ I love the faith element weaved throughout the story， and how Rachel comes to realize just how much God loves her， in spite of her past。I just finished Winter of Danger。 Luis has loved Jan for years， though he's tried to get over her after she dumped him。 Jan broke up with Luis thinking it was the right thing for him。 Now， trouble has come to her door， and the first person she thinks of is Luis。 She knows she can trust him， and he'll help her even though she broke his heart。 When the two are forced to work together to stay alive， will she realize that God will do better with her life if she accepts Him and let's Him have control？ She knows she's done a lousy job， and Luis has definitely shown her how Jesus loves。 Will she learn in time that she can depend on both Jesus and Luis？I just finished Whisper of Danger。 Lydia and Aidan have known each other all of their lives。 Aidan had proposed after high school， Lydia had accepted， and then she broke their engagement， without telling him why。 He's wondered for years， and though he's tried to forget her， he can't。 It doesn't help that they share the same town， the same friends， and there's been no closure。 Now that a child has been kidnapped， and they find out it's because of Lydia， Aidan will do all he can to protect her。 Lydia has kept her secret for years， but now it has to come out。 Will
